Godspeed!

Hello folks. My name is Alex James. Welcome to Experience 9.0, my travel blog. Through this travelogue, I seek to document my travels and experiences along the way. I'm still kind of new to the whole travel blogging thing and have only just begun the get my bearings around photography. My intention here is not to make a guidebook, but rather maintain a diary of my first-hand impressions of these places and my journey across them. I'm really not sure what the outcome of this exercise might be, but its something I've had in mind for a while. I have a few destinations in the books this year. So there couldn't have been a better time for me to try this. Can't promise that all of these campaigns will turn out to be fun or entertaining. But they should be interesting nonetheless.

Traveling is something I've always loved doing. Normally I'm the sort of person who can't do with lesser than 6 hours of sleep a day. But whenever I'm in travel mode, I can get by with about 2-3 hours a day. Whenever I'm someplace, I'll try to squeeze the most out of every minute to see/explore the maximum I can. When I have limited time at a place, I'll meticulously plan everything I have to do so that I can cover more places. When afforded the luxury of time, I'll spend hours just randomly wandering around streets, shopping centers and popular lounges. Simply observing the crowds, the traffic and the buildings. Doing everything I can to get my finger on the pulse of the place. This to me is essence of traveling.

But whenever I'm on a trip, I'll try to blog as often as possible to cover most of it down to the minutest relevant details.
